So, just another example to show the power and the lack of power of LR3 with (almost) saving a picture.
Shooting the processional at a wedding about a week ago and the flash failed to pop on this shot...

After some several slides of the ol' sliders in LR3, we get this...

So, by no means a fully saved shot, but if this had been a once in a lifetime image, it is now at least passable. The moral of the story: know what shooting RAW and using LR3 can do (and what they can't!). And, of course, remember the forgiving qualities of black and white!
