experiments in light spirography

Just some early experiments with light-painted spirography (if I can coin such a term by way of the old Spirograph toy!)

More headshots!

This is my dear friend, Anne.  She is a successful writer.  She recently visited the studio for a new author photo for the ol' dust jacket.  We played with her signature look and had a great time in the studio.

play day at Lesa's place

Yesterday, amazing and generous local photographer, Lesa Ferencz ( http://www.lesaphotography.com ) threw an impromptu "play day" in her studio and invited photographers and models to enjoy some community, friendship, and casual shooting opportunities.

Here are a few of the shots I managed to shoot between all the camaraderie!

First the lovely Kenzie Grandas.

And here is beautiful Victoria Kal

Thank you to Lesa, and to the all the models and my fellow photographers!  It was great fun and greatly appreciated.

More long exposure play with a ukulele...

superdude flight trails

I shall call him Superdude.  Superdude visited the studio today for some long exposure play.  Superdude's flight trails were created in camera with long exposures and a pop of flash at the end.
